Overview

EasyQuery.J is Java edition of our Easy Query solution. With its help you can add end-user oriented ad-hoc query builder into your applications written on Java.

In depth

EasyQuery.J library will be available in two editions: Swing edition and Web edition. First one will work in Java desktop applications which use Swing library for their GUI. Web edition is intended for use on web-sites based on JSP/Servlets.
Both editions contains the same non-visual part (DataModel and Query classes) that is responsible for data model and query saving/loading, SQL generation and other logical tasks. Second part of the library contains visual controls (first of desktop application, second - for web sites) which provide user-friendly interface for query building.
Thus visual and logical parts of the library are totally separated from each other that provides wide opportunities for different adjustments and improvments of user interface or business functionality. All main classes of the library (query panel elements, value editors, expression classes, etc) are open for customization and inheritence by developer.

Swing edition

Swing edition can be used in any Java desktop application which use Swing library. Trial version does not have any functional limitations but shows a reminder message on controls initialization both at design-time and run-time. Registered version of the libarary does not show any reminders.

Web edition (coming soon)

Web edition of EasyQuery.J will be useful for any JSP/Servlet web site that allows its visitors to search some data, setup filters on information provided by this site or generate reports. EasyQuery.J Web edition will be built on AJAX technolagy and so will need JavaScript for its work.

Purchase/Registration

Both editions of EasyQuery.J are available for registration in two options: single license and site license. Single license allows to use the library by one developer and freely redistribute all EasyQuery.NET assemblies (4 DLLs currently) with your application.
Site license allows to use library controls and classes by any number of developers within one company. Additionally site license users can get full source code of EasyQuery.NET library that allows to include necessary code directly into your application and thus you will not need to distribute additional DLLs with your product.
All registered users (for both editions) get a free one year subscription to technical support service that includes free minor upgrades and bugs fixing.
